What I’ve learned from the beginning is that Medium is a team game — we’re all in this together, to learn from the community and to support it.
My journey on Medium mirrors many of yours.
I’ve encountered ups and downs, and during the past month, in March, I’ve been deeply saddened, just like all of us, by the disappearance of our dear friends and partners on Medium.
From that twinkling moment in August 2023 when I first dipped my pen into the effervescent universe of Medium, to joining the Partner Program in September 2023, becoming a ‘Friend of Medium’ in January 2024, and an editor for the publication New Literary Society in February 2024 — it’s been a mesmerizing dance of learning, sharing, and blooming.
But don’t rush off just yet, we have more landmarks to cherish!

You were there, bearing witness as I crafted short stories, published older pieces, and fragments from my novels, eventually emerging as a verified author with numerous books to my name, each one shining in Romanian, English, or German.
Then, you learned more about my personal journey through the article about my book launch on November 9th, 2023, during the INTEGRAL Festival.
In December 2023, I began publishing translations from German and Romanian, along with cultural articles on Romanian traditions and recipes.
In February 2024, I started working for the New Literary Society publication, conducting literary interviews (which I also translated into Romanian), writing reviews, and other articles.
