In the following, get ready to be amazed by my bookish tips & tricks! We’re going into new territory. You’ll learn first about an art form that is both artsy-fartsy & science fictiony – Hybrid Arts (I’m sure you know what they are).

Event 3: “Flying Bonsai and other Imaginary Lovers!” and the wonderful “Rediscover You Workshop” by Luna Popescu

During the Fine Art exhibition Short Oriental Digression@ORIZONT, Bucharest on February 14th, 2020, we explored Hybrid Art.

This was when the spectators, in fact, 40 or 45 artists-improvisers created living fiction inspired by Dan Botezan and Vali Irina Ciobanu’s art!

Public Reading. Writers: Mihaela Marilena Chițac, Anca Hirschpek, Julia Kalman.
Meanwhile, I made my contribution with a performance art called “The Flying Bonsai.”
I had a stimulus approach to memory – revealing past experiences through synesthesia, metaphor, and imagination. I performed on the theme of imaginary love on a script inspired by oriental themes, especially the Hanahaki disease.

Unfortunately, the acoustics left much to be desired, and the participants became less active.
The ending was symbolic…
