But First, the Story Behind the Story
🌟As a kid, I was obsessed with a certain magazine series — maybe some of you know it — the Digedags. Three little, sneaky, funny reporters who time-traveled through American history, getting into all sorts of mischief. Basically, my dream job at that time.

🌟Then came the literary magazines. I devoured The Magazine of the 21st Century— so cool that it still exists online and is still being published today.

🌟And, of course, sci-fi mags and online forums later — because why limit yourself to one world when you can have all of them?
🌟Let’s not forget my debut: at sixteen, full of teenage rebellion, I got my first poems published in the magazine of the German High School “Hermann Oberth”. This was back when schools were still a bit wild — teachers were making music, we skipped class for concerts or… yoga, and somehow, despite all that, we passed our exams.
Speaking of teachers, our brilliant and gorgeous English teacher, Michaela, was also legendary. She adored us girls. One day, instead of treating herself to those most desired red shoes, she took us all out to the town’s fancy new pizza restaurant. We basically ate her entire paycheck in one meal.
To this day, I’m torn between guilt and admiration. But hey — lesson learned: The best teachers don’t just teach. They show up for you.

Do I Ever Wish to Be a Journalist?
Only as a kid. And later… I’ve spent plenty of time documenting and designing the perfect texts — university papers, business travel reports, short story collections, several novels, and even cultural projects that somehow exploded into hundreds of pages. Oh, and let’s not forget technical and literary translations.
I prefer writing to reporting. And honestly, promoting others is way easier than promoting myself.
Which is… probably why I’d make a terrible journalist — imagine me reporting live:
