Dear Friends, Followers, and Writers of New Literary Society,

Every Challenge Brings Opportunities.

We could have moved to another platform, like… Substack.

Created some live poetry performances on TikTok or… OnlyFans.

Filled Facebook with even more cats, YouTube with cookies, and stripped down on Stripe…

Or just waited for things to improve on their own.

But real progress demands action — and creativity.

And flexibility.

And love.

Some chocolate.

And coffee.

I mean, all of the above, but done the right way.

Well… so… we chose to actively shape our future by learning from the most successful voices on this platform — those one step ahead.

It hasn’t been easy for me, especially while translating a private eye novel and battling the chaos of winter… at minus 22 degrees Celsius.

  • We linked Medium and WordPress for seamless navigation.
  • Our WordPress site now features a “NLS Publication” page from Medium, a “NLS E-Magazine” page and a “Buy Books” page to showcase our embedded books.
  • And… our Medium publication has in the Menu… the Navigation link

3. 📚 Boosting Visibility & Earnings

  • As you probably already know, WordPress articles are indexed via Google Console.
  • Medium articles require a different approach, so we use Ping for indexing.
  • We’re focusing on Education as a key theme to increase visibility and revenue.
  • Instead of just “#storytelling”, “#writing,” and “#stories,” we’ll categorize our work under Education, reinforcing literature as a learning tool.
  • We encourage you to tag your Medium stories under #Education as well.
