Contest Details, here.

We’re working hard to keep up with all the entries, emails, and messages, and trying to have a life somewhere in between.

So, whether you’re an experienced writer or just starting, don’t hesitate — you still have time to enter the contest!

Just write one piece, ask us to add you as a writer, and submit it.

Who can tell?

You might end up winning the New Literary Society prize (and feel great about it too).

And don’t worry about the people who’ve submitted 20 stories — they might be aiming for the Popularity Prize, but everyone has a chance to stand out!

Talking about glowing, our wonderful co-editor, Sal Gallaher, has enjoyed an amazing summer — read about her adventures and her self-publishing tips, here:

As for me?

Man, I’m living through this renovation adventure (or ordeal, depending on the day).

I rush between my old place and the new one aiming to finish before the cold hits.

I long for the day I can settle into my new snug home bundled in my faux fur throws, holding a pen, drinking hot tea (or maybe something with a kick).

I plan to write, indulge in sweets, and spend time with my beloved husband.

If I’m fortunate, I might squeeze in a swim or two before Christmas sneaks up — just 103 days left, people!

Not that I’m keeping track or anything…

But you know what? Life’s pretty sweet.

I think about comfort food plush blankets, and those small joyful moments that make us feel like kids at Christmas again.

So let’s treat ourselves a bit, enjoy the journey, and find wonder in our daily lives.

Warm embraces and happy writing!

Thank you once again for your incredible support, engagement, and participation in the contest.

I am deeply grateful for everything you do!

If your entry isn’t displayed yet, please feel free to comment with your link, and we’ll make sure to add it immediately.

I could tag all of you here — including myself and Sal — but we’re not allowed to participate.

So, consider this a tag for all NLS writers and followers!

As I mentioned, you can join the contest with just ONE published story.

Also, take a look at your published pieces — some could be perfect entries with a quick title tweak. 😊The Momma Dom ~ Playing With Myself , Susi Moore , Sophia Chanu , – The Dribbler — , Martino Sacchi

And wish me luck — this weekend, I plan to share your contest entry links (not friends links!) in various Facebook groups to boost visibility and votes.

I might also repost this story on WordPress to reach an even wider audience.

Warm regards,

Julia

And that’s me this summer — slightly tanned, a touch of melancholy in my eyes, after hours at the laptop and spending time in that dusty old apartment. And… the second Image is by Freepik.
