Inspiration for Memoirs

Allow yourself to be open to new ideas.

Write your memoirs as either what actually happened, what you wish had happened, what you believe could happen in the future, or just begin with an actual event.

You can write freely and allow surprises to come to you.

Btw, ever heard of the Free-Flow Writing Technique?

The Free-Flow Technique

Writing and even living in a state of free flow are possible.

It’s fascinating to note that while writing free flows, you might mysteriously access your subconscious, capture every thought while in a moment of ecstasy, produce something unique, and then, when you analyze it afterward, you might discover something about yourself that alters your present or perhaps your future.

Writing is a form of healing.

By putting things down, you can imagine, express your intuitions, analyze, and plan.

Yes, like in the to-do list.

But different.

Like brainstorming.

Instinctively.

Remember waking up during the night with a brilliant idea in mind… only to forget it a few hours later?

Or those… everyday fleeting ideas?

You can develop them and put them into words via writing.

I admit, I’m a bit of a skeptic.

All those notions, such as the New Age Philosophies and the Law of Attraction Theory, seem too… fantastical to be real.

However, for practical reasons alone, writing things down is thought to be the sole method to place them on a to-do list.

Magic is not necessarily involved.

And I guess there is nothing bad about it.

Everyone claims that writing can be therapeutic, like… art therapy.

Furthermore, as a 1.6 m, 50 kg emotional being, I really needed to write things down and think outside the box to be able to deal with challenging circumstances like saving someone’s life during the pandemic, but that’s a whole other story.

Further information regarding free-flow living, and how to enhance your life quality and artistic output, here:

Free-Flow Writing

Free flow, fragment from my book Anti-memoirs of a Muse, which was traditionally published in 2016:

Giant spinach and nettle bushes bloomed in the garden on the outskirts of the city, along with cotton candy, chocolates, and all the best stuff on earth.

Aye-aye proceeded to the gingerbread house of the Caribbean Wizard, who happened to be Alice’s nephew, where Old Shrek and the Easter Bunny delighted.

She peered at her Brussels sprouts with one eye while using the other to pick out the Feather Razor Blades from the grass, carefully avoiding the butterfly wings, hearts, and flutters.

What was there?

A lost love?

A first love?

Or just a fantasy?

There, growing in a bush, was the teacher’s ruler; it struck him as forcefully as the first vaccination and his mother’s hand had struck all those large, red bottoms of childhood.
