About Sal Gallaher
One day, Sal Gallaher entered my life, her writings echoing Australia’s vibe.
Her work displays emotional depth, simplicity, and the seductive ineffability of the continent, reflecting postcolonial literature asserting its identity.
Sal is an experienced Freelance Writer, born in Denmark, and living in Australia, writing romance suspense.
She also brings elements of Danish literature into her work, such as the introspective nature and focus on human emotions often found in Danish literary tradition.
Additionally, she serves as an editor for our publication the New Literary Society.
At the New Literary Society, Sal receives story submissions and does interviews with you, promoting you and your works worldwide. No charges included (momentarily).
If interested, feel free to fill in the literary questionnaire attached and send it to Sal, at: NLS.Submission@gmail.com

About Australian literature
• Australian literature is currently experiencing an explosive moment marked by a variety of voices and themes.
• Indigenous Australian literature is gaining global attention through authors such as Alexis Wright, Kim Scott (the writer, not Eminem’s ex-wife), and Tara June Winch, who explore Indigenous culture and identity.
• Furthermore, the environment reflects the heterogeneous fabric of Australian society, with writers such as Alice Pung, Maxine Beneba Clarke, and Nam Le exploring themes of migration, identification, and belonging.
• The article “15 Best Australian Authors of All Time” lists Tim Winton, Melina Marchetta, Kate Grenville, Richard Flanagan, Helen Garner, Matthew Railey, Markus Zusak, Miles Franklin, Jane Harper, Liane Moriarty, Melissa Lukashenko, Craig Silvey, Sally Morgan, Mem Fox, and Patrick White.
• But you know how these tops are. They cannot include all notable writers.
• I was delighted to read a handful of Australian novels translated into Romanian, and I’m set to embark on an Aussie reading marathon these days.
• More on Australian literature, particularly about a relatively new and very dear Australian writer and friend of mine, Rita H Rowe, coming soon.
