Night
In the night, a fire glows, subdued and deep,
Within the hearth, its flames a dance, a sweep.
In a corner, on a sofa, soft and pink,
I watch it glow, as thoughts begin to link.
Until my mind succumbs, my lashes fall,
The candle dims within the cozy hall.
Sleep’s warmth, a comfort, slow and sweet,
Envelops me, in dreams, our souls may meet.
Through shadows, you approach, a gentle smile,
White as winter’s snow, a love worthwhile.
On knees, you sit, arms wrapped around,
Gazing at my face, a love profound.
Your arms, so white, soft, round, and fair,
Entwine my neck, you rest, without a care.
As if from dreams, your hands so small,
Sweep aside the locks from my forehead’s fall.
You smooth my brow, both slow and light,
Believing I sleep, your fiery kiss alights.
Closed eyes like sleep, my forehead in your view,
Smiling, as dreams within a heart renew.
Oh, linger till my brow is smooth, serene,
Stay young like sunlight, clear and keen.
Dew-kissed and sweet, a flower’s grace,
Till my girl remains, and old hearts erase.

So Tender
So tender, like the white cherry blossom,
An angel among mortals, my heart’s awesome.
You grace the path of my existence,
A delicate flower, love’s sweet insistence.
Barely touching the soft carpet’s weave,
Silk whispers beneath as you gently heave.
From head to toe, you float like a dream,
Light as a sigh, a gentle stream.
From the folds of your gown, so long and trailing,
You emerge, marble-like, forever unfailing.
My soul hangs upon your tear-filled gaze,
Lacrima and fortune, in your eyes’ maze.
Oh, blissful vision of love’s sweet tale,
A gentle bride in fairy tales, you set sail.
Don’t smile, for your smile reveals,
How sweet you are, what the heart feels.
With the magic of night, you dim my sight,
Darkening my eyes, in your arms so tight.
Warm whispers from your tender lips,
Embrace me with arms, where coldness slips.
Yet, a thought passes through your warm gaze,
A wave on your eyes, a hot blaze.
A dark renunciation begins to appear,
The shadow of sweet desires, crystal clear.
You leave, it’s clear to me,
I won’t hold on, you’re forever free.
Lost eternally to my soul’s plea,
Bride of my spirit, departing silently.
Seeing you was my own sin,
A forgiveness I will never win.
I’ll shatter the dream’s bright sheen,
Stretching my right hand into the unseen.
You’ll smile like a saintly icon,
Forever the virgin, my love, my beacon.
Wearing a crown on your sacred brow,
Tell me, when will you come back, and how?

When Memories Beckon
When memories of days long past
Seek to lure me, tender and vast,
On the known, enduring road,
I tread once more, with a heart bestowed.
Above your house, the same stars gleam,
Witnesses to our shared dream.
Softly over scattered trees,
The gentle moon rises with ease.
It found us, embraced in the night,
Whispering secrets, holding tight.
Our hearts pledged an eternal vow,
Amidst lilacs, making the night’s vow.
Could such longing ever fade,
In the night, where tears cascade?
The source of emotion never ceased,
Waves of the stream, eternally released.
When the moon weaves through the oak,
Always following its chosen cloak,
And your eyes, still large and kind,
Looked at me with love, so refined.
Ah, those were moments of bliss,
Captured in the moonlit kiss.
Now, memories call, and I surrender,
On that journey, my heart’s defender.
