As you peer into the looking glass of the sea,
What reflections unfurl, what visions set free?
Emerald coasts and skies kissed by the brine,
Clouds and stars, in a cosmic design.

The waves, in their dance, a sorrowful song,
Eol’s whispers, through reeds, tender and long.
A barcarole whispers in the lapping tide,
A melody blushing hearts can’t hide.

Should you momentarily lose your way,
Beneath the sea’s green, expansive display,
There, in the aqueous void’s vast embrace,
A tomb-like sensation, life’s fleeting trace.

Observe the pale smile gracing my lips,
Witness the dreams, tranquil in eclipse.
As the warm summer zephyr takes its flight,
It serenades in my keys, bitter and bright.

Should your gaze pierce my heart’s intricate maze,
Into its depths, where hidden sorrows graze,
You’d fathom the sea of melancholy within,
A venomous current, hard to begin.

Then, you’d fathom the essence that dwells,
In my living shell, where the soul quietly swells.
A lifeless smile, serene yet keen,
In the theatre of melancholy, unseen.

Please, clap, engage, and… stay tuned for the next story…! But, most importantly, a profound thank you to each one of you. Your unwavering support has been invaluable.
