Give Me
Give me the bronze lyre to hold,
Place it in my left arm’s fold.
Your eyes, averted with a trace of fear,
You blush, my voice draws you near.
The strings softly weep and sing,
Come, fair fairy, in my arms swing.
Rest your face upon my chest,
Your neck on my right arm to rest.
Light of my eyes, do you love me true?
Speak honestly, my dear, to you.

You Love Me
Yes, you love me, coyly you smile,
Lowering your eyes, a tender wile.
Oh, too pure light, if you ever knew,
The pain my soul goes through.
If you knew, pale angel, dear,
How much I love you, how sincere.
How many nights of love and woe,
I’ve watched, crushed by sorrow’s flow.
My dearest, my sweet, so ethereal,
In your presence, love feels so surreal.

Oh, My Dear
Oh, then you’d ask me to reveal,
The dreams I’ve had, the visions surreal.
You’d fix me with fearless gaze,
Softly remove your black lace,
From your pure, blond hair so neat,
Smooth your white temple with a hand sweet.
And I would tell you, my beloved,
That for so long, you I’ve sought,
Pink diamonds, in the secret path,
Through the verdant grove,
Or the fir-clad woods above.

Where?
By the singing streams,
Among the rocks that gleam,
Wandering through the clouds,
In the coolness of the caves,
In the mystery of nights.
I saw you in my mind’s eye,
And now that I’ve found you nigh,
It seems I remember,
In times long before,
I saw you and loved you more.

Let Me Tell You
Let me tell you where… one evening fair,
I dreamt a beautiful dream with utmost care.
On a luminous cloud, it seems, I swear,
I saw a golden stair, divine and rare.
In the vastness of the sky, it climbed so high,
Angels lined the steps with grace, oh my,
Playing sweet melodies, clear and nigh,
Harmonizing the celestial sphere, oh so spry.
At Mary’s feet, on a silver cloud to stay,
Kneeling, an angel, bright and proud, they say.

That Angel
White as the wilderness’s swan, in a gentle way,
Sitting, contemplating in thought profound each day.
He took his golden harp, I saw in awe,
Passed his hand over it, and began to draw,
Heaven’s laureled gate, with a soft Ave Maria,
That angel!… Paling face, a regal star, euphoria.
Since then, alas, I’ve adored with ardent desire,
Searching for him in this world, my soul on fire.

Imagine
Wandering astray, lost in heart’s mire,
And then I saw you: a miracle entire.
When did you leave heaven’s sky so pure?
Why did you come to this world obscure?
Did you know my whole life’s love is sure,
Loving only you, my heart’s only lure?
Did you know who awaits you in love’s core,
Came to reward, in wisdom, my soul swore?
My long worldly sorrows, you gently restore,
With your wise smile, and your celestial eyes, evermore.

Dream Along
In this realm of dreams, where love does entwine,
Amongst the stars, our fates align.
Your presence, a melody, so divine,
Harmonizing with mine, oh how time flies.
Let the celestial orchestra play,
Our symphony of love, night and day.
In your arms, my heart finds its way,
An eternal dance, where love holds sway.
Beneath the moon’s soft and silvery guise,
Our love story unfolds, a celestial prize.
Whispers of passion in the night air rise,
As we dance in the cosmic ballet’s wise.

Please, clap, engage, and… stay tuned for the next story…! But, most importantly, a profound thank you to each one of you. Your unwavering support has been invaluable.
