Hey there! Picture this: my name and surname have been passed down through the generations, and that includes my pen name. Yep, even my birthname joined in on the fun… Haha!
Let’s take a moment to talk about our ancestors. Sounds familiar? Most of us have been named after the legends in our family tree, right? Well, guess what? I’m no exception! Back in the day, I got accepted into the German School, all thanks to one special ancestor named Julia Kalman, straight from Austria-Hungary. Talk about a family legacy!
Now, brace yourself for a hilarious twist. Fast forward to fifth grade, when our English teacher decided to shake things up by having us pick new names for class. Can you believe it? Out of all the options, guess what name I ended up with? You got it! Julia strikes again! What are the odds, right?
Fast forward to 2015, when I had the chance to choose my pen name. And let me tell you, folks, it was like destiny was calling out to me. Julia Kalman became my go-to name, and boy, do I adore it! It’s become a part of who I am, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
So here I am, ready to spill the beans, share my adventures, and connect with all of you. From personal tales to deep reflections, I’ll be pouring my heart out using simple language, short sentences, and a friendly, relatable tone. We’ll embark on a journey where words come alive and emotions run wild.
With heaps of enthusiasm and gratitude, Julia Kalman ✍️💖

Hey, BayanKoPh! Thank you for your feedback.
This post is a free flow – where ambiguity reigns and the mysteries of the subconscious unfold. Free flows are always jumbled.
As you already know, daily prompts are meant to help writers beat writer’s block by writing free flows.
“Free flow writing or free writing is a writing technique where you start writing continuously for a set amount of time. When you’re free writing, the goal is to let your writing flow without worrying about grammar, sentence structure, spelling, or even word choice. Just put your pen to paper and keep writing.
You can start small with 10 minutes or even 15 minutes set on the timer. Then begin to write anything that comes to mind. When you freewrite, your brain takes over. You can write without consciousness. And it becomes a type of automatic writing that helps you get your thoughts and emotions on paper without barriers.”
I must admit, this post does not resonate with me all that much either. But fear not, for… maybe, one day, with a little help from my subconscious, 😊 I shall embark on a magical journey to rewrite it in an enigmatic voice.
Thank you again for your constructive feedback.
All the best,
Julia
