Less is More: My Quest Back to Minimalism

Daily writing prompt
What are your daily habits?

Hey, everyone! šŸ˜„ Welcome to the sitcom of my life, aptly titled “The Remote Minimalist”!

Working from home has been a paradoxical cocktail of convenience and absurdity. On one hand, I have the liberty to attend meetings while lounging in my PJs (my little secret), and on the other hand, I’ve found myself on more than one occasion speaking passionately during a video call, only to realize… I was mute the whole time! Talk about a silent movie! šŸ™ˆ

Once upon a time, I was a minimalist maestro. My diet was as simple as a haiku, my closet was as curated as a museum exhibit, and my schedule was as streamlined as a sonnet. But now? Let’s just say, my diet often includes ‘accidental’ feasts, my closet resembles a pop-up thrift store, and my schedule feels like an abstract painting that even Picasso would find complicated. šŸŽ¢

But they say hope is the last to die, right? I dream of returning to my minimalist roots without compromising my work or family commitments. Imagine a life where I can complete all my tasks, be there for every family event, and still have time for cultural pursuits – vernissages, concerts, conferences, movies, you name it! šŸŽØšŸŽ¬šŸŽ¤

So, come along on this comedic journey as I attempt to dance my way back to minimalism, one hilarious misstep at a time. After all, laughter is the best way to keep our spirits high, and our clutter low! šŸ˜‚
